HISTORY
I'm a drummer with 27 years of experience; I have worked with different bands playing different styles, from rock, cumbia, salsa, merengue, reggaeton, bolero, to funk and progressive. I have always studied with private teachers.
I like everything related to the visual arts and performances, I have also worked with companies dedicated to this, either as a musician or as a stilt-walker, or combining both activities.
I have been working in the marketing department of a company that imports and distributes musical instruments, professional audio and lighting equipment.
I also play classical guitar, ukulele, vihuela and charango, and I took indian tabla lessons at the Embassy of India in Mexico.
About my career, I am a computer engineer and have worked repairing and in maintenance of computer equipment.
On the other hand, I have made contributions to musical theater productions, short films and independent bands in a small home studio where I also produce my own band.
I am interested in working with a latin band, because besides being the bouquet which I like, I can work with my both musical knowledge and my experience in visual arts, combining both disciplines, I like to travel and meet new cultures and ways of life; an example is my attachment to world music in general, I like listening to music of all kinds, my favorite is the Bollywood music and obviously the regional Mexican, though I also like the collections of world music, each genre can teach us new things, both musically and culturally.
I love languages, I speak spanish (native), english, and currently i'm learning french.
